Stakeholder Management

Project managers deal with dynamic environments. Their role is not only to deliver projects on time, within budget and to the required quality, but extend to include other aspects that are equally important.

Satekholder management is one such aspect. Building highways or bridges, or most other types of civil engineering projects, will certainly cross the interests of others, individuals and/or organizations. The needs and expectations of all stakeholders have to be identified and a management approach is defined.

A project may finish meeting the tripple constrint requirements, but it can be deemed a failure if it fails to address the stakeholder management issue.
